Ali Alwaeli

There are so many bright minds throughout all of our schools in Campbelltown.

And it is so heartening to know that future generations are in such good hands with people like Ali Alwaeli. It is fair to say that Ali is one of the most promising students at his school John Therry Catholic College, Rosemeadow. Indeed, he is one of the most promising students throughout Campbelltown. Ali was recently awarded the Bronze Young Scientist Award (Rowe Scientific Depth Studies) at the 2021 Young Scientist Awards. Ali's comparative study of the wings of Calliphora Stygia focused on blowfly wings and how they could potentially assist in micro air vehicle. This is the type of things our youngest generations are exploring and examining and it's why, as I stated earlier, that I know our future is in safe hands with students like Ali. It goes without saying that the entire John Therry Catholic College community are extremely proud of Ali and his achievements. On behalf of the Campbelltown community I would also like to say well done and congratulations to Ali on a very well deserved achievement.
