Mark Milligan

At the start of the year, the A-League's newest club Macarthur Bulls FC weren't considered genuine title contenders. It would take time for the new boys on the block to build chemistry and lay those title winning foundations, the naysayers said. But those critics underestimated two things. The first being the spirit of Campbelltown and the entire Macarthur region. The second being inspirational leadership of Campbelltown Mark Milligan. A Socceroo captain and internationally recognised talent, Milligan was certainly the ideal candidate to captain our Bulls. And no one could argue that he has done a tremendous job during the 2020/21 season. Unfortunately the 2020/21 season will be Mark's first and last season captaining Macarthur, will the champion footballer set to call time on a an impressive career that has spanned the globe. There have obviously been many highlights for Mark during his successful career but I dare say that captaining the Bulls during their inaugural season will be right up there. He certainly did the club and our community proud. Thank you Mark for being such a great ambassador the Bulls and our region and both I and the Campbelltown community wish you well in retirement.
