"Ultimately, it is a privilege to be your local member and it is my goal to create a better Campbelltown for us all."

Health and Campbelltown Hospital

Health and Campbelltown Hospital is one of the biggest concerns raised with me or my team on a regular basis.

While the doctors, nurses, allied health workers and staff do an incredible and admirable job, they can only do so much with the little resources, funding and support afforded to them by the NSW Government.

I am pleased to have stood with our community and fought for the upgrades for our local hospital, however, those upgrades will be redundant unless the adequate number of staff are employed to service and treat patients.

Education

Education for our students and children is a top priority for every family in every community and Campbelltown is no exception.

We are a rapidly growing community and we need to make sure our schools can cater for both existing and future students.

The NSW Government must be planning for new schools and maintaining our existing schools to ensure that students and staff have the resources they need.

Public Transport

Public transport remains to be an ongoing challenge for many commuters across Campbelltown and the Macarthur region.

There is no disputing that our public transport network is at times not up to scratch and needs ongoing review to make sure it is up to demand.

NSW Government decisions to:

- cut direct services to Parramatta;

- deny vital bus services to residents in Macarthur Heights; and

- not build a line to Macarthur from the new Western Sydney Airport by opening date in 2026, have caused much angst in our community.

I will continue to advocate in every way for our community on these issues.

Local Roads

Roads continue to cause much frustration for our local community as we commute to and from work, school and recreation.

Whether they are old, not-fit-for-purpose roads or new ones that are long overdue, there is no doubt that more needs to be done to ensure residents spend less time on congested stretches of bitumen and more time with their loved ones.

Upgrades to Appin Road, construction of the Spring Farm Parkway and M9 Outer Orbital – there are a just a few of the projects that have been neglected by the NSW Government.
